Minister Mthembu Dies

Minister in the Presidency, Jackson Mthembu, has died due to COVID-19 related complications.
This was confirmed by President Cyril Ramaphosa in a statement on Thursday afternoon.
Ramaphosa says Mthembu was an exemplary leader, an activist and life-long champion of freedom and democracy.
“He was much loved and a greatly respected colleague and comrade, whose passing leaves our nation at loss,” explains Ramaphosa.
