Former Health minister Zweli Mkhize says he wants the Special Investigating Unit’s (SIU) Digital Vibes findings against him set aside.

He has approached the High Court in Johannesburg to have the SIU’s conduct declared unlawful and unconstitutional.

The former minister is also arguing that the evidence he provided was not taken into account.

The SIU found that Mkhize’s conduct in the approval of the R150-million tender to Digital Vibes was unlawful.

He has accused the unit of tainting and ending his political career, especially as an official in top government.

In his application to the court, Mkhize says there were breaches by the SIU in terms of fairness, adding that there are many irregularities in their findings against him.
