MKMVA Responds to Disbandment Rumours

The Umkhonto weSizwe Military Veterans Association (MKMVA) has denied speculation that it has been disbanded.
Speculation arose when ANC Deputy secretary general Jessy Duarte indicated that the MKMVA will be disbanded and an interim committee established.
However, the association’s President, Kebby Maphatsoe, says there has never been a meeting that resolved in disbanding the Umkhonto Wesizwe.
