The animal cruelty case against National Assembly Speaker, Thandi Modise, has been dismissed by the Potchefstroom Regional Court in the North West.
Modise appeared in court, following an investigation by lobby group, AfriForum.
This was on behalf of the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animal.
The SPCA alleged that Modise left her farm unattended, causing over 50 animals to die due to a lack of water and food.
Modise says she’s relieved.
