National Assembly Speaker, Thandi Modise, has weighed in on the the ongoing scuffle at the Pan-African Parliament (PAP).

Members of Parliament were in an altercation that saw ANC Chief Whip Pemmy Majodina being caught in the cross fire during the scuffle .

Meanwhile, EFF leader Julius Malema was also seen threatening “to kill” a PAP member during one of the scuffles, over the election of new leadership.

The continued actions have led to calls for the African Union to intervene.

However, Modise says as the host country, South Africa needs to take accountability and ensure common ground is found.
