More Arrests Related to Phoenix Killings

Police minister Bheki Cele has confirmed that to date, 36 suspects have been arrested for the murders of innocent lives in Phoenix, north of Durban.
Cele led a series of feedback meetings in Phoenix and neighbouring settlements over the weekend, to provide updates on investigations into the murders.
Police ministry spokesperson, Lirandzu Themba, says the role of police in the violence is also being investigated.
She adds that they are also looking closely into the role played by seven private security companies operating in the Phoenix area.
