More Eskom Revelations at Zondo Commission

Former Eskom Group CEO Matshela Koko says the power utility’s former legal head, Suzanne Daniels, lied several times before the commission into state capture.

Koko has been before the commission, on Monday,  and is being questioned about an email sent to an associate of the controversial Gupta family, Salim Essa.

He has argued that his personal assistant sent the email.

Koko says Daniels only gave him the email address when he came back from his suspension.

Daniels had previously described Koko as Essa’s pet, who talked with him regularly.

Koko says it would serve the commission better not to take into account most of what she said in her testimony.
