Former Passenger Rail Agency (PRASA) Group CEO, Lucky Montana, has rejected claims by the company’s former general manager of legal services Fani Dingiswayo, that he ruthlessly abused his powers.

Montana has been testifying before the Zondo Commission of inquiry investigating state capture.

According to Dingiswayo, Montana would ruthlessly abuse his powers if one crossed path with him or attempted to ensure that things are done lawfully.

Montana says the allegations are not based on fact.

Montana further saya former board chair, Popo Molefe, led a campaign against him.

Molefe previously told the commission that the former CEO is responsible for bringing PRASA to its knees, however, Montana accuses Molefe of being the mastermind behind the collapse of the State-owned Passenger Rail Agency, calling him the most corrupt Board chair.

He says Molefe wanted him to appoint certain people and when he did not, the agenda intensified.
