Motorists given extension for driver’s and car licences

Motorists whose drivers and motor licences expire during the lockdown, now have a 30 day grace period to renew them.

This is in terms of disaster regulations issued by Transport Minister, Fikile Mbalula.

He says such licences will remain valid while licensing offices are closed due to the coronavirus measures.

Mbalula has also touched on the issue of taxis saying he’s met with the industry on several issues.
