Motshekga Announces Matric Exam Re-Write

Basic Education Minister Angie Motshekga says they have taken a decision to rewrite the leaked maths paper 2 and physical science paper 2 exams to protect the integrity of the 2020 exam.
Motshekga is briefing media in Pretoria on the progress of the matric examinations.
The maths paper 2, physical science paper 3 and Business studies were leaked last month.
On Tuesday, the Hawks confirmed the arrest of Themba Shikwambana, working for a company contracted to print examination papers in connection with the leak of the maths paper.
Motshekga says this is a costly exercise.
