Mswane Is Setting Herself Up for Failure – Africa4Palastine

Newly crowned Miss South Africa, Lalela Mswane, has confirmed she is forging ahead with plans and preparations to compete and represent South Africa at the Miss Universe pageant in Israel.

This comes in the wake of government withdrawing its support for her to represent the country on 12 Decembe in Eilat.

The international beauty pageant has been shrouded in controversy, with pressure mounting for countries including SA 2021 Queen, to withdraw from the competition as Israel is accused of committing atrocities against Palestinians.

Human Right organisations such as Africa4Palestine are already questioning Mswane on her stance for human rights.

Spokesperson for Africa4Palestine Tisetso Magama says Mswane is setting herself up for failure adding that her reign will always be remembered for this controversy.
