President Cyril Ramaphosa’s national security adviser, Sydney Mufamadi, has confirmed the names of corruption-accused ministers were indeed mentioned during his meeting with former Eskom CEO André de Ruyter.
He appeared before Parliament’s standing committee on Public Accounts after de Ruyter alleged he was made aware of the allegations of corruption at the power utility.
Mufamadi says de Ruyter revealed during a meeting who is the senior politician that he suspected of involvement in corrupt activity.
