Municipal Managers Urged To Deal With Corruption

Independent Municipal & Allied Trade Union’s (Imatu) Deputy president, Bheki Khathi, says Municipal Managers must ensure accountability and also deal with corruption.
Khathi has been addressing mayors and municipality officials attending the two-day KZN Salga Provincial Members Assembly in Empangeni north of the province.
He says competency and accountability must go hand in hand.
Khathi adds that Municipal Managers must comply with their own policies as well.
