Myeni Returns to Zondo Commission

Former SAA chairperson, Dudu Myeni, says she never participated in any looting during her tenure at the State Owned Entity.

Myeni has been giving testimony before the State Capture Commission of Inquiry.

This follows Myeni defying her first summon to appear at this commission on Tuesday morning, which led to the commission’s chairperson, Raymond Zondo, giving her an ultimatum of either appearing later on the day or face charges.

She asked Zondo to speak in her home language, isiZulu, as she says the false charges against her have tainted her image even in her own community.

Myeni says she became a target because of her connection to former President Jacob Zuma.
