Netball South Africa launched the 5th annual Telkom Netball League in Sandton on Wednesday morning. This years edition will make it’s way to the Limpopo Province for the first time ever, as the City of Polokwane will host the power week phase of the tournament from 27 April to 1 May 2023. The Business end of the tournament will be staged at the Hatfield Indoor Arena in Pretoria to decide this years winner of the Telkom Netball League.
Netball South Africa and the tournament sponsor Telkom announced the renewal of their partnership for a further 3 years, to continue a relationship that began in 2019. Netball SA President Cecilia Molokwane also announced the addition of two new teams in Division B of the tournament. The Limpopo Lillie’s and the Free State Sonoblom will be part of this years edition, taking the total number of teams to 15 across the two divisions. The addition of these teams in Division B means KZN’s Kingdom Stars will remain in the top division despite getting relegated last year.
