New Production Site Launched in Richards Bay

Communities and emerging enterprises have been given a glimmer of hope with the launch of a production site in Richards Bay, on KZN’s north coast.

The project is a joint initiative by government and a privately-owned manufacturer – Nyanza Light Metals.

Once the construction is completed, the company will be producing commodities like paints, plastics, paper, foods and medicines.

This investment designed to create jobs and bolster economic growth is facilitated by Richards Bay Industrial Development Zone.

Speaking to Gagasi FM News, Economic Development MEC, Ravi Pillay, says this is a provincial government entity.
