Identikits released by task team linked to political killings

The task team investigating political killings in the province says it’s looking for two suspects who might solve the murder of Sibusiso Sithole.

The 39-year-old was shot and killed at Victoria Street in Richmond, in the midlands by two unknown men who accosted him while he was opening the door of his vehicle. He was a Richmond municipal manager at the time.

Police spokesperson, Jay Naicker, says they have released identikits to the public and assistance from people will be very helpful in the investigation.

“Anybody with information on the identity if these men or who can assist detectives in the investigation should contact the investigating officer Sargent Mkhabela. The matter is still being investigated and we are not able to discuss it further.”
