Women, Youth, and persons with disabilities Minister, Maite Nkoana-Mashabane has called on citizens to protect women and children.
Speaking at the 2nd Presidential Summit on Gender-Based Violence & Femicide held in Johannesburg, she says there’s no culture that says women and children should be killed.
The minister adds that South Africa is not a war country, so, there’s no need for children to feel unsafe in the streets and women to feel unsafe in their bedrooms.
