NPA Cites Delaying Tactics on Zuma’s Application

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) says it views Jacob Zuma’s call for the private prosecution of the state prosecutor, Billy Downer, as another intimidating and delaying tactic.
The former president’s corruption trial is set down to resume in the Pietermaritzburg High Court today.
NPA spokesperson, Mthunzi Mhaga, says they will also oppose any application by Zuma’s legal team for a postponement.
