The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) says it is confident that more arrests are imminent in the multimillion-rand locomotives tender.

Four former Transnet executives including CEO, Brian Molefe and chief financial officer, Anoj Singh, were arrested yesterday, on charges of corruption, fraud, money laundering, and contravention of the Public Finance Management Act.

The case relates to a 93-million-rand corruption and fraud case linked to the procurement of more than one-thousand locomotives in 2015.

NPA spokesperson, Sindisiwe Seboka, told eNCA they have a watertight case.
