Nsfas has written off almost R2 billion in historic debt

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme is writing off almost two-billion-rand in historic debt.
This was revealed in a response to a DA parliamentary question, by minister of Higher Education, Science and Technology Blade Nzimande.
The DA’s Belinda Bozzoli, says the minister has to clarify what criteria was used to write off the debt and who will pay for the costs associated with the written-off debt.
