NSFAS Moving Rapidly To Process Student Allowance

The National Student Financial Aid Scheme says it has accelerated the processing of student allowances.
However, it says the speed and comprehensive release of funding depend in part on relevant and applicable student registration data being timeously availed to the organisation.
Wits University claims that over eight-thousand students had not been paid their allowances by last week Friday, but the organisation has denied this.
Nsfas’s spokesperson, Slumezi Skosana, they will continue to liaise with all institutions to ensure that they address whatever obstacles that exist.
