NUMSA Says Government is Failing Workforce Amid COVID-19

Metalworkers’ union Numsa says the ANC government is worsening the suffering of the working class during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Union’s National Spokesperson, Phakamile Hlubi-Majola, says government failed to deliver the critical fundamentals for hospitals, including oxygen tanks, personal protective equipment and support staff.
Hlubi-Majola says what this government has mastered is to successfully blame the working class for its failure to protect lives and for the unstoppable, exponential spread of the pandemic.
