NUMSA Sets Record Straight on Eskom Wage Negotiations

The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA) has refuted media reports which claim that Eskom employees have rejected the latest wage proposal.
Several reports indicate that Eskom has upped it’s offer to 7%.
Unions Numsa, the NUM, and Solidarity are expected to return to wage talks at the Central Bargaining Forum tomorrow.
Numsa’s Phakamile Hlubi Majola says reports that workers have rejected the latest wage proposal are misleading and fabricated.
