Numsa Suspends Deputy President

The National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA) has decided to suspend its second deputy president, Ruth Ntlokotse.

The union has accused Ntlokotse of undermining the leadership and displaying divisive conduct.

This comes ahead of a Numsa conference in the next few weeks.

Numsa spokesperson, Phakamile Hlubi Majola, says the decision was made at the union’s two-day special central committee meeting.
