NUMSA Wants Murder Suspects To Be Denied bail

National Union of Metalworkers of South Africa (NUMSA) is calling for the suspects arrested in connection with the murder of Abahlali baseMjondolo leader, Nokuthula Mabaso, to be denied bail.
She was gunned down in front of her children in Cato Manor, Durban, in May this year.
Twenty-three members of Abahlali have been killed over 17 years.
The suspects are expected to apply for bail in the Durban Magistrate’s Court today.
Numsa spokesperson, Phakamile Hlubi-Majola, says it would be unfortunate if the alleged killers get away with this murder.
