Nxesi Outlines TERS Applications

Labour and Employment Minister, Thulas Nxesi, says all applications for the Temporary Employer/Employee Relief Fund (TERS) will be made via the CCMA.

Nxesi had been briefing media on the state of the South African occupational health and safety initiative by government.

He says an independent adjudication committee will evaluate all proposals and make recommendations to the Director General of the department.

Nxesi adds that small business owners who were affected by the recent unrest in the country will also be assisted.
