One Movement SA Submit Electoral Bill to Parliament

The One South Africa Movement says the submission of the Direct Elections Bill to the speaker of Parliament, Thandi Modise, is a great moment for the country.
The submission of the bill follows a groundbreaking decision by the Constitutional Court earlier this year where it ordered Parliament to change the electoral laws to allow for independent individuals to stand for election.
The movement’s leader Mmusi Maimane says this is an opportunity to get the best of the best elected to Parliament and change our country’s fortunes.
