Opposition parties have accused government of purposely delaying the vaccination rollout plan.
President Cyril Ramaphosa has been answering questions at the National Assembly, on Thursday afternoon.
Leaders of the opposition parties have not minced their words about their views on the vaccination rollout plan that they believe the ANC government is intentionally delaying.
EFF leader Julius Malema says government is doing the opposite of saving lives by engaging in long transactions that are not yielding fast results.
He has further accused Ramaphosa of only doing business with manufacturers that are potential partners to his own future business.
Meanwhile DA leader John Steenhuisen has also fired his shots at the president saying he’s failing to meet his own vaccination rollout targets.
However Ramaphosa has maintained that he’s prioritizing the lives of South Africans and everyone will be vaccinated against COVID-19.
