Pitso Mosimane joins Al Wahda

Pitso Mosimane is the new Head Coach of United Arab Emirates Pro League club, Al Wahda. Three-time CAF Champions League winning coach has left Al-Ahli earlier this week after terminating his contract.

”Al Wahda FC Company has signed with the South African Technical Director Pitso Mosimane to lead the first team as a Head Coach,”…. the club stated.

”The Club’s Board of Directors welcomes Mr Mosimane to the Home of Champion ; wishing him the success in serving the club’s leadership, administration and fans ambitions.”

So far Mosimane has won 19 career trophies with SuperSport United, Mamelodi Sundowns, Al Ahly and Al Ahli Saudi. With the likes of Zamalek, Esperance, Wydad Casablanca, Kaizer Chiefs and Nigeria all expressing interest in Jingles but he chose Al Wahda.

The move is convenient for him and his technical staff who have grown used to life in the Middle East.
