Police Investigate Alleged Poisoning Of De Ruyter

Power utility Eskom has confirmed that the police are investigating whether an attempt was made to poison its outgoing CEO, Andre de Ruyter.
De Ruyter resigned on the 14th of December after failing to solve a crisis at Eskom that has led to record power cuts in Africa’s most industrialised economy.
His last working day in the office will be on the 31st of March 2023.
