Policeman fighting for his life after sustaining critical gunshot wounds

A policeman is in a critical condition after he was shot multiple times on Maydon Road in the Bayhead area in Durban this morning.
Rescue Care Paramedics say when they arrived on the scene they found the man believed to be in his early forties in a critical condition.
Spokesperson, Garrith Jaimeson, says events leading up to the shooting are unknown but police are investigating the matter.
