Popcru: Government needs to do more to protect police officers

Police union Popcru says government needs to do more to protect police officers.
This follows the gunning down of Western Cape officer, Charl Kinnear, in his car outside his home in Bishop Lavis, Cape Town, on Friday.
The 52-year-old was the commander of the Anti-Gang Unit.
Popcru’s, Richard Mamabolo, says it is clear that Kinnear was targeted.

Meanwhile The eldest son of Kinnear says the last conversation he had with his father was about 30 seconds before he was shot.
Carlisle Kinnear says he will miss everything about his father, especially making him a cup of tea. He adds that he will never forget his father being killed.
