President Urges Communities To Unite In Fighting Crime

President Cyril Ramaphosa is calling for unity and a community solution in the fight against crime.

He is answering questions from members of the National Assembly.

Ramaphosa is being subjected to approximately six questions from members of the house, that are of national and international importance.

According to the latest crime statistics for October to December last year, murder cases increased by 10.1 percent countrywide.

Ramaphosa says in most cases, perpetrators are known to the community therefore to urgently address the situation there has to be a benchmarking session to fight this scourge.
