Proteas Men and Women’s team in action on Wednesday

The Proteas Men and Women’s team will be in action on Wednesday in their respective series’ away from home. The Men’s team will begin a three-match ODI series against Afghanistan (14h00 SA time) at the Sharja Cricket Stadium in the United Arab Emirates. All three matches of the series will be played at the same venue between 18-22 September, and will be the first taste of One Day action for Rob Walter and his boys in 2024. 

The Proteas Women team will be in action in the second T20 International against Pakistan at the Multan Cricket Stadium (16h00 SA time), looking to wrap up the series win as they hold a 1-0 lead. Dillon du Preez side recorded a 10 runs victory over the home side in the opening match of the series at the same venue Monday. The final T20i of the series will be played on Sunday 29 September.
