PSA concerned about attempts to reduce its wage bill

The Public Servants Association is extremely concerned that Government’s attempts to reduce its wage bill whilst a three-year agreement is still in place are making a mockery of the negotiation process.
The 1.3 million public servants take home 35 per cent of national spending.
PSA’s, Tahir Maepa, says attempts to slash salaries in the wake of the effects of fraud, corruption and poorly-run state-owned enterprises will be vigorously opposed.
