PSA Confirms Its Going On A National Strike Tommorow

The Public Servants Association (PSA), which represents almost 235-thousand public servants, has reiterated that it will be embarking on a national strike tomorrow.

Wage talks between unions and the government soured after the employer offered public servants a wage increase of 3 %, while unions demanded a hike of between 6.5 and 10 %.

Speaking to a public broadcaster, PSA’s Reuben Maleka says they are only willing to return to the bargaining table, should the government make an acceptable offer.
