The Public Servants Association says negotiations are continuing with the government to find solutions on salary increases.
This comes after the Public Service Coordinating Bargaining Council convened an urgent meeting for government to revise its offer to public servants.
The PSA’s Claude Naicker says the association was mandated by the Union’s members to reject the latest offer of a three-percent pensionable salary adjustment for employees on salary levels 1 to 12.
Naiker says the offer does not address realities in cost-of-living expenses.
