The Public Protector’s office says its investigation team has obtained, reviewed, and validated all the information and evidence it deems relevant at this stage of the Phala Phala farm investigative process.

The office has been investigating whether President Cyril Ramaphosa may have violated the Executive Ethics Code in relation to the theft of thousands of US dollars on his Limpopo farm, at the request of the African Transformation Movement.

Public Protector’s office acting spokesperson, Ndili Msoki, says the validation process is important before finalizing the preliminary report.
