Public Sector Salary Hike Dispute Continues

Trade union Federation Congress Of South African Trade Unions (COSATU) is set to strike over salary hike disputes in the public sector.

This after the Labour Court ruled in 2018 that the wage agreement was invalid and unconstitutional.

Since then government has been at loggerheads with the unions after pulling out on this 3 year wage agreement.

The federation and 3 other public sector unions are set to appear at the Constitutional Court to challenge this judgment relating to wage increases.
