Queen’s Burial Date Announced

AmaZulu Traditional Prime Minister, Mangosuthu Buthelezi has confirmed that the body of the late Regent, will be transported from Johannesburg to her Royal Palace of KwaKhangelamankengane in Nongoma, northern KZN on Wednesday.

This is where preparations for her burial will take place on Thursday.

Buthelezi says in line with her wishes, as was done for His Majesty the King, she will be interred at the crack of dawn in a private burial.

A memorial service will be held at KwaKhangelamankengane Palace, on Friday.
