The manager of music group Ladysmith Black Mambazo, Xolani Majozi, says they will continue doing the good work that leader, Joseph Shabalala, did in communities around the province.

President, Cyril Ramaphosa, has declared a Special Official Funeral Category 2 in honor of the late founder of the world renowned choral group.

In 2008, the group received the National Order of Ikhamanga for putting South Africa’s cultural heritage in the form of indigenous music on the world map.

Majozi says for the longest time, Shabalala has played a huge role in community building.
