President Cyril Ramaphosa has called on the country to stand together against gender-based violence and racism.

Ramaphosa said this during his Day of Reconciliation virtual address.

This year’s National Day of Reconciliation was under the theme United in Action Against Racism, GBV and other Intolerances.

Ramaphosa says true reconciliation will not be possible unless government addresses the many ills in society, including poverty and inequality.
