President Cyril Ramaphosa says placing South Africa on Adjusted Level 2 lockdown does not mean citizens should be reckless.

He’s been addressing the country on government’s plans to fight COVID-19 and develop the economy.

Event organizers are about to take a breather as the number of people to attend events has been increased to 250 in doors, and 500 outdoors.

Offsite consumption is now permitted between 10am and 6pm from Monday through to Friday.

Ramaphosa says communities must continue to adhere to government’s health regulations.
