Ramaphosa Is Concerned About Unemployment In The Country

President Cyril Ramaphosa says the high number of unemployed young people is something no country can afford, but it is even worse if they are also not in education or training.
He adds that inclusive growth and shared prosperity can only be achieved when more people are working.
He delivered his keynote address at the 2023 Basic Education Lekgotla.
Ramaphosa says improving the quality of education for all remains a priority.
