Written by on 31 March, 2020

President, Cyril Ramaphosa, says rating agency Moody’s decision to downgrade South Africa to junk will not diminish in any way government’s response to the coronavirus pandemic.

The country now has 1326 confirmed cases of the virus and three fatalities.

Reports say the third victim is a man from the Free State.

Addressing the nation last night, Ramaphosa says they are pushing ahead to implement the necessary health, economic and social measures to contain the spread of the virus.
