Ramaphosa Says Government Has Great Success In Fighting GBV

President Cyril Ramaphosa says one of the great successes of government’s effort to fight gender-based violence is the extent to which social partners have rallied around the National Strategic Plan.
Ramaphosa has been addressing the Second Presidential Summit on Gender-Based Violence and Femicide held in Johannesburg.
He says it’s not women only who are responsible for ending such crimes, but It is men as well as women through reporting and speaking out.
Ramaphosa adds that as a society, ending violence against women and children cannot be anything but their foremost priority.
