President Cyril Ramaphosa says mining continues to be an essential part of the country’s economy.
Ramaphosa is addressing delegates attending the Africa Mining Indaba held in Cape Town.
The largest mining Indaba investment event in Africa is attended by Heads of State and senior government representatives, mining industry leaders, and investors.
Ramaphosa says the mining sector is an important contributor to the economy and to job creation.
