President, Cyril Ramaphosa, says South Africans have made enormous sacrifices to ensure the success of the nationwide lockdown.
Since the establishment of the special Covid-19 relief scheme of the Unemployment Insurance Fund, it has paid out over 11-billion-rand to 2 million employees of over 160 000 companies in distress.
Ramaphosa says this will help to keep companies afloat and save millions of jobs.
