President Cyril Ramaphosa has described suspended ANC Secretary-General, Ace Magashule’s conduct as both shocking and unprecedented.
Magashule was suspended earlier this month when he refused to step aside pending the finalisation of the corruption case against him.
He then wrote a letter purporting to suspend Ramaphosa, and also approached the Johannesburg High Court to declare the ANC’s step aside resolution unlawful and set aside his suspension.
Addressing media in Limpopo, Ramaphosa says Magashule should be the last person to question the constitutionality of the step-aside resolution.
